Ai Uehara

Ai Uehara, known in Japanese as 上原亜衣, is a creator and entrepreneur whose career began in adult entertainment. Born in Fukuoka Prefecture, she debuted in 2011 and retired from adult films in May 2016. Her subsequent public work has centered on social media, video, publishing and business. She returned to public activity in 2019, beginning a new phase as an independent media personality.

Uehara resumed public activity in June 2019 and launched her YouTube channel, あいちゃんねる, that August. Later the same year, Futabasha published Renatus AI UEHARA STYLE BOOK. Released on December 12, the 112-page book used fashion and beauty photography to introduce her renewed public image. The publisher presented it as her first photo stylebook, with styling, makeup and an interview forming part of the project. Its fully clothed photography reflected the book’s focus on her life and presentation after leaving adult films.

Online video became an important part of this later career. Her Japanese-language channel provides a continuing outlet for public appearances and collaborations, while her Instagram and X accounts use the handle ai_uehara_ex. In a first-person note published in January 2024, she also discussed an AI Uehara project using multilingual digital presentation.

A January 2026 interview published by Shueisha revisited Uehara’s career after retirement and her activities as an entrepreneur. She discussed her experience producing themed cafés and beauty salons, as well as her growing business activities overseas. Her YouTube channel publishes an email address for proposals relating to the channel and collaborations.
