Alex Chance

Alex Chance is an adult-film performer, director and model from Virginia. She entered the industry in 2011 and made her directorial debut in 2015 with Alex Chance: Family Therapist. Her career also includes photography with Richard Avery and appearances on television, radio and podcasts.

Chance came to adult entertainment after working in sales, marketing and hospitality. In her January 2013 AVN interview, she described the preparation involved in making a film: makeup, hair, wardrobe, setting up the scene and thinking about camera angles. She also spoke about wanting to direct and about her interest in the art and technical work of production.

That ambition became a first directing assignment in 2015. Working from her own twenty-page script, Chance managed a four-part production with an experienced crew. In a 2020 Broken-Tailed Dog podcast introduction, she was presented as a performer producing her own content, extending a career that had already taken her from acting into running a set.
