Alexis Amore

Alexis Amore is a Peruvian-born adult performer, director and broadcaster from Lima. She moved to Southern California as a child and grew up in Redondo Beach. Before entering adult films, she modeled for retail advertising and worked with Playboy TV. Her screen debut came in 1999 with Vivid Entertainment’s The Watcher 6.

After a break in performing, Amore returned to the industry and signed with Jill Kelly Productions in 2003. An agreement with Anabolic Video in 2004 included both performing and directing. In 2005 she joined Video Team as a contract performer and spokesperson, appearing in All About Alexis; that agreement ended the following year.

Her career also includes writing and broadcasting. She introduced the Simply Alexis column in AVN Insider in December 2004, after contributing advice writing to the Peruvian magazine Oye. In October 2014 she launched That’s Amore on Vivid Radio. Her media appearances included Peruvian television coverage and a September 2006 Lowrider cover.

In 2018, Amore was inducted into both the AVN Hall of Fame and the Urban X Hall of Fame.
