Cadinot is the historic French gay adult studio and catalog built around photographer, director and producer Jean-Daniel Cadinot. Biographical sources place the founding of his production company French Art in 1978 as he moved from photography into filmmaking.
Over the following decades Cadinot developed one of France's best-known gay adult film catalogs, with an emphasis on narrative structure, location shooting and recurring French and Mediterranean settings.
After Jean-Daniel Cadinot's death in 2008, the catalog continued through archival and distribution activity. The current Cadinot.fr site remains an active official archive and visibly uses Studio Presse infrastructure.
