Falcon Studios

Falcon Studios was founded in San Francisco in 1971 by entrepreneur and producer Chuck Holmes. The company grew from an early mail-order business into one of the most recognizable names in gay adult film and later adopted video, digital distribution and multiple studio labels.

Falcon's long history includes major branded lines such as Falcon Studios and Mustang Studios, as well as an influential roster of directors and performers. Several people who later became important competitors in gay adult production had earlier professional ties to Falcon.

Public company histories identify Gamma Entertainment as the current owner. That places Falcon inside a modern multi-brand network while preserving a studio identity that predates the web era by decades.
