Wicked Pictures

Wicked Pictures was founded in 1993 by Steve Orenstein and became one of the best-known feature-oriented adult film studios in the United States. The company built its reputation around narrative productions, contract performers and high-profile directors.

Over the following decades, Wicked developed a large catalog and became associated with performers such as Jenna Jameson and directors including Brad Armstrong and Axel Braun.

In December 2020, Orenstein sold Wicked Pictures, its catalog and Wicked.com to Gamma Entertainment. Gamma named Axel Braun head of production, marking a clear ownership transition while retaining Wicked as an active studio brand.
