Briana Banks

Briana Banks is a German-American performer and model whose career began in 1999 and whose professional identity is tied to a path that moved from modeling into studio production. Born in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, she has also been credited as Briana Bany, Brianna Banks and Mirage. The alternate names appear alongside her performing and modeling work, while her Munich birth places her background within a German-American context.

She spent eight years as a Vivid Entertainment contract performer, a sustained studio association that became a central phase of her career. During that period, she became a Penthouse Pet, a recognition that added publication visibility to her profile. In 2009, she was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame, an honor that marked a high point in a career already moving through distinct phases of recognition.

After a five-year hiatus, she returned to performing in 2015, resuming the professional activity that had paused during that break. The following year brought induction into the XRCO Hall of Fame, adding another hall-of-fame honor to her career. That 2016 recognition followed the 2015 return and added to the milestones of her performing career. Her Vivid contract era remains part of the 2000s context for a career that began in 1999 and later included Penthouse, AVN and XRCO recognition. The sequence of contract work, publication recognition and hall-of-fame induction forms the main outline of her professional story. That outline connects her early modeling foundation to later studio affiliation.
