Ed Powers

Ed Powers, born Mark Arnold Krinsky and also credited as Mark Arnold, is an American performer, director, producer, and radio host best known for the Dirty Debutantes series. He was born on October 25, 1954, in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, United States, and his career has been associated with both Brooklyn, New York, and Los Angeles, California. His adult-film career began in 1985, and he worked across performing, directing, and producing roles.

Powers created and directed Dirty Debutantes, the pro-am series he launched with Jamie Gillis in 1989. The franchise continued into the 2010s and became one of the industry's longest-running pro-am series. Its identity remained closely tied to Powers's directing and producing career, and it is the work for which he is chiefly known. Powers's role as creator and director made the franchise a defining part of his career. It remained a pro-am series throughout its run. The series began in the late 1980s and ran into the 2010s, giving it a long tenure in the pro-am market.

Beyond that series, Powers worked in publishing and hosted the Los Angeles radio show Bedtime Stories during the 1990s and 2000s. His industry honors include the AVN Reuben Sturman Memorial Award and later recognition in the XRCO Hall of Fame. In 2009, he appeared in the mainstream film Crank: High Voltage.
